Currently...

So, I saw this idea done on a couple of blogs which you can go to HERE and HERE, so I decided that I will be a follower and follow along. 

CURRENTLY

LOVING: My fancy little thrift store finds that I've been coming across. (which I have pictures to show you later on) I also love the fact that after a long day at work I can go home and take my pants off and just lounge around in my underwear.  Trust me this is an amazing feeling after sharing a house with another couple for a whole year we finally have some privacy.

READING: At the moment I'm in-between books right now.  I just finished Solomon's Oak, it took me awhile to really get into it but after a chapter it was an easy read.  I think my next book is either going to be Bad Heir Day: A comedy of High Class and Dire Straits or Under the Olive Tree: A Novella.

WATCHING: Since we just moved into our own place the only hook up we have in the house is Internet, so watching TV isn't exactly on the list of priorities.  The only show that I'll make an effort for and watch on the laptop is "Awkward".  I absolutely love this show, it brings me back to my awkward high school days.  Hahah

THINKING ABOUT: How wonderful it'll be when 5 o'clock rolls around and I'm headed home, to the thrift store for 50% of everything in the store on Tuesdays sale at CHKD.  I'm also thinking about how nasty it's getting out there, and the fact that I'm really over the 24/7 storms. 

ANTICIPATING: I have a few things I'm fully excited for.  Let's see BIG opportunities are in my future (will have to share later).  There's also the fact that the boyfriend and I might be making the lovely 10 hour drive to go back home and see/meet my family. YA, for road trips.  I'm super over thunderstorms, can't wait to pull out the hoodies and enjoy the cooler weather. 

LISTENING TO: All things related to work right now.  The sound of my fingers typing away, the air-conditions humming, the sound of checks being electronically filed ( I don't work at a bank we just have a system) and the sound of doors opening and closing. 

WORKING ON: Getting work done, ha, making this blog super fantastic (a girl can dream right), ideas on how to decorate the place and all the fun DIY ideas I've come across and want to do. Oh and planning a trip to a vineyard (this will be a first me and I can cross it off the bucket list).

WISHING: I could be on vacation in a semi- not so hot kind of place, with an umbrella drink and a place to rest my feet, oh and maybe one of those big flowy kinda hats. Hmmm.... I think that's a picture of heaven.  Haha, I mainly wishing I had my family closer to me, to be able to take a 10 or 15 minute drive and see their lovely faces would be the best thing in the whole world.

Tv Tray Ideas....

So, I was given TV trays from the (I believe) 1960s, from a guy I work with.  He didn't give me an exact date only that he remembered them from his high school days.  But, I mean who's gonna turn down FREE VINTAGE stuff... Not this girl that's for sure. So, I figured that I really wanna add a little color to them and make them a little more fancy for my lovely little place here. 

 So, let me start off by showing you what they look like now...

I'm just not all about the dark wood color. 

So, here is what I was thinking about doing...

 I think I would want different colors maybe a blue, yellow or white, but this is along the lines of what I'm thinking.  

So, here's to hoping I can talk the other half into letting me go with bright lively colors for my living room and of course once I have finished this little project of mine I'll be posting some pictures and step by steps. :)

A New Start
