FALL all over me....

IT'S FALL! I can't even begin to explain my excitement. Fall is the time of year for hoodies, jeans, and hot drinks. The time of year when you know the leaves well change and fall. The time of year when you sit on the porch just to enjoy the cooler weather. Fall is for me. I'm not a summer girl, well I am to some extent but I'd rather be in my hoodie and jeans. 

My goals this Fall... 

Sit on my porch bundle up every chance I get 

Sleep with the windows open 

Do more activities outside 

(I'm talking long walks, wiffle ball, maybe even a game of kick ball)

Use my new hot drink maker thing 

(it makes big pots of heaven or I think it does)

Jump in a pile of leaves 

Apple picking 

Take a fall photo shoot

(With my wonderful boyfriend as the photographer)

Decorate the new house for Halloween 

Lots and lots of bonfires

(lame I know but it was a great time)

Do everything and anything that cant normally be done any other time of year 

So, yup my goals are simple and perfect and me nothing more and nothing less.

Calling All Austen Lovers.....

As stated HERE I was going to take control of my nook and read some books! Well, I finished the first 1 started another one stopped that one and I'm now on to a new one! Yup, can't make up mind on what I wanna read. And my hopes of not buying other books has well ummm... failed. oh well all in the name of book loving is how I see it. 

Anyways, I read this book... 

 

And I absolutely loved it.  If your a fan of Jane Austen like most people are you'll enjoy it. 

I'm horrible at book reviews so bare with me.  

The Author decided to take Jane Austen to South America and see if people enjoyed it or disliked it or even wanted to punch some characters like we Americans do. It's interesting to see others points of view who have grown up with different cultures than are own. Of course there had to be a love story when it comes to Jane and the author told us about finding true love on her trip. It's great the way the author explains the things she seen the people she has met and so forth.  It's amazing to get that glimpse into a country that many like myself have never been to, to see through her eyes the beauty of each place.

Well that's my lame review for such an amazing book.

Nook Time

It feels like fall is just around the corner. 

Mother nature decided to bless us with a nice 

little cold front. which equals to wearing 

jeans, hoodies, bonfires, snuggling up and 

sitting on the porch reading a good book 

with a steaming cup of tea. 

I have yet to do do the steaming cup of tea

but I have pulled out the hoodies and put the porch 

swing and nook to good use. Awww... complete heaven 

for this girl over here. 
 

With all this perfect weather and nice days. I decided 

it's time to catch up on my reading. I think I'm do for 

lazy days on my porch with a good book on the nook. 

I mean my library is full of 143 books that need reading 

and that doesn't include all the books I keep finding at 

thrift stores that are piling up as we speak. 

So, my goal this fall/year is to read more and buy less. 

No more buying books when I have a house/nook full. 

So, my goal is to read through these books and maybe share 

with you the books I liked and those I didn't. 

So, here is to fall coming upon us and more days 

spent on that little porch of mine!

Single.....

No, I'm not really single! Like I would ever get rid of my 

loving man. But for a few hours yesterday I told him we 

were not together. This is all do to this....

 

Yup, that's right football caused our little split. 

Am I serious!?! OF COURSE I am, no one can 

come between me and my love for the packers. haha 

Only thing is Erik is a niners fan! UGH I know right 

just plain sad. So, yea lets just say our house yesterday 

was pretty intense. Then of course we lost which 

made everything like ten times worse! But, its ok it was 

one game and hopefully we can pick ourselves back up! 

So, that was my Sunday. The rest of the weekend 

consisted of work and just hanging out.

Cry Me A River

Wow I'm behind on this little place of mine. 

I'm in full slacker mode. AHHHH... 

Well, It's time for me to get out of it. Time to re kick start

this little place of mine. 

I'm an emotional roller coaster today, well more like 

I've been crying like a little baby all day. 

Some days a girl just needs a good cry and well 

today is mine. ugh.. 

I have foolishly bawled my eyes out to 

Drop Dead Diva season 3 today. 

Then tried to catch up on season 4 to find out 

it is NO WHERE and I mean NO WHERE on 

the internet. Which was such a devastating blow. 

I know "cry me a river" kinda moment 

I'm having right now. 

Let's see whats been new!?! It's been days filled 

with work and nights filled with the boyfriend. 

That's been my life at the moment. But I promise to 

bring more interesting topics into this little place of mine. 

But, as for now I must clean and get the house looking 

fantastic.
