Snow!!!

It Snowed!!! 

I have been waiting for snow, all winter and last night 

god decided to grace me with this beautiful white fluffy stuff. 

Of course it didn't accumulate to much until around 12 am and it still wasn't a lot than. But the boyfriend and I put our boots on and went out and played. I payed for it this morning though. Tired and sore does not make for a fun day. But, I would do it all over again for all the laughter and smiles we shared last night.

THE FUNNY PARTS OF LAST NIGHT:

Though the sore part is all the boyfriend's fault. He asked me to go get his boots out of the car well of course I went out there and slipped right in the snow/mud pile by the car. It was the usual legs in the air butt on the ground kinda fall. OUCH is all I can say. Also while out and playing he decided to throw a snow ball that hit me right in the lady parts. I would like to share that also hurts and is not that fun! HAHA 

*Side Note: I came in after I fell and told the boyfriend "I just took a DIGGER" I have no idea where the word came from but I'm curious if anyone has ever used it in the same way!?! If you have please share so he'll stop thinking I'm crazy!

AND now the snow has left us do to this being the south and it's just not cold enough to keep snow around. 

Now it's time to go finish my homemade chicken noodle soup. :)

Book club!?!

 

I have this urge to do a book club. I've had this feeling for a couple weeks now.

But, of course my brain is thinking:

where do I begin?

who can I get to join me? 

what would we read?

Will I even have time?

Of course most of those questions can easly be answered, no problemo! But, of course I'm still stuck at the who, who can I get to come. I have a small group of friends and that's it and well their mainly guys. Of course they wouldn't want to sit down and read a book. Then I thought hey maybe I can do a blog once a month get people from the blog world to join me in a little book club fun. But, Guess What as you can tell no one follows me on here. So, it still leaves me stuck on this who! Who will come!?! AHHHH..... 

Well, in any case whoever reads this and thinks doing a little blog book club is a great idea and would like to join email me or comment and let me know! :)

Happier at home...

hey y'all, I know most of you have heard about "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin. Well, the other day as a couple we decided we were going to take sometime out of our night and read this book together. Which let me tell you it's a great experience reading it aloud joking in between sentences and being able to talk about what we're reading. Plus, I think in a way it brings us closer together. I just love it.

Anyways, after reading the first chapter  we decided to check out the website. As we're browsing around we found out that the author was doing a Happier at home 21-day relationship challenge. Well, of course we signed up for it. Don't get me wrong we're extremely happy in our little love nest over here, I just thought it might be fun to do this challenge as a couple.

So, I've decided while doing the challenge I would write on here to kind of keep track of how each new challenge goes. I'm really excited about this and being able to share with y'all our experience through this. I'm thinking every Friday, I'll recap the week's challenges on here and let y'all know how it's going.

His Special Day!

He doesn't let me take pictures of him, this was the best I could do! 

I want to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this wonderful man of mine! 

I'm so glad god decided to grant earth/me this wonderful man. 

I couldn't ask for a better best friend, boyfriend and soul mate! 

This man completes me in every way. 

He is the most caring, kind, and funny person I know. Plus 

a bonus he's very smart! :)  

I'm glad he's here to brighten my days with his smile and laughter. 

Happy Birthday Babe! I'm so glad you were born and are able to spend 

your special day with me! You are one of the most amazing people I have 

ever met. I wouldn't change it! 

So, here's to many more to come Old Man!

New Year...

New Year... New Resolutions... New Beginnings...

I feel like this is the year for all good things! The year to live life to the fullest and to really make something of my self and my relationship.

2012 had it's ups and downs and all a rounds, but I'm thankful for what I've experienced. I've learned a lot. I've changed jobs, we got our own house, and I was able to see my families. I also ended my year with a wonderful boyfriend, a glass of wine and watching the ball drop at home cuddled up. It was a perfect ending.

And now it's time for a perfect beginning...

This year I plan to do things differently...

I plan to work more on this blog and to make it a place that people wanna come to... and to make it a place I can enjoy!

I plan to work on my health... I wont say lose weight because everyone wants to lose weight, but I want to be healthy for me and my future children! :)

I plan to be more creative and actually do some of the activities from my pinterest...

I also plan to become the best dispatcher I can be... continue to keep trying...
 
 My main goal is to stay positive and to be the best I can be. and to continue being the best girlfriend I can be to my wonderful man and to continue having our relationship grow.

So, here's to a New Year!
